Design a interface that cultivates the possibility for meaningful attention and immersion on UT’s campus.

Requirements and constraints

Design an interface that cultivates the possibility for meaningful (lens 3) attention on UT’s campus with at least one of the following

All projects must adhere to the constraints listed below.

Context + audience

Your project should focus on working for a (graduate) student walking to class or a meeting on UT’s campus.

Meaningful attention / immersion

We explore will define meaningful attention (couched one way as immersion) according to Neely’s Lens 3 Attention in his Soma Literate Design. We’ll read about this in our sketchnotes.

Place / space

You are constrained to activities and interactions that concern UT Austin’s campus. All designed interactions should scope to a person physically on the campus.

Materials

Your interface should consist of a single screen / piece of paper.

Form factor

A print or mobile phone screen (I only recommend designing a screen if you have experience). You may use any tool, including something like Figma, HTML / CSS, etc.
